Wedding News + Shop Closing
Exciting news in the world of Marmalade Meringue; as you may have already seen on Facebook, Tilley's eldest brother Thomas is marrying the lovely Keren this Saturday 01/04/17! Obviously we can't wait to join in the celebrations but the downside does mean that we are having to close the shop. We'll be there until 17:00 on Friday 31/03/17 and then we'll reopen as usual at 09:00 on Monday 03/04/17.
We'll make sure to pop up a photo in the next week or so, so you can see the gorgeous bride and groom!
Just to let you know we're now open every Sunday in the run up to Christmas. We'll be there from 10am, and we're looking forward to seeing you.
Oh and by the way we'll be open after Christmas on the 27th; again from 10:00 (ish). See you soon!
Well knock me down with a feather, the Beeb were in filming us today as Hinckley is in the final of The Great British High Street, in the Large Market Town category. It would be great if you could vote to help Hinckley win...you can find a link here: Great British High Street.

The Greats 2015
We're delighted (and slightly astonished) to say that for the fourth time we have reached the finals of a category in the "The Greats". The Greats are a nationwide competition, in its thirteenth year, which aim to celebrate the best gift retailers in the country. This year we are a finalist in the "Independent Gift Retailer of the Year - Midlands and Wales" category; so we've got our fingers crossed that we might come away with another trophy! Thank you all for your continued support, it might sound cliched but without you we really couldn't be where we are today.
Things are hotting up for one of the biggest events in Marmalade Meringue's 2015...the wedding of our very own Tilley and her fiancee Craig! Whilst we're all super excited for the festivities this Saturday, there is a minor setback...unfortunately we're having to close the shop for the day (21/02/15). Normal service will be resumed however on Monday, minus Tilley, as she'll be on her honeymoon :).
If you still haven't got anything sorted for Valentine's Day this Saturday, there's a good chance Marmalade Meringue can help you out; we've got everything from compact mirrors, to handbags, scarves and picture frames. And we've got a great range of cards whether you have a new love or your love has matured like a fine wine!
